live the light

1. So this morning and I dragged myself out of bed and stared at my messy closet and thought...I can wear whatever I like! It was like I was welcomed a brand new wardrobe! Yesterday was my last day of the 30 day 30 item challenge. It was really fun to be more creative with my accessories and a good reminder to live simply with my life. I made a few mistakes by not putting enough neutral's in my 30's which made it harder to mix and match. I also was pretty bad at putting up pictures everyday, I'm kinda a roll out of bed and get ready in 20 mins girl, so taking pictures wasn't a total priority. I did it though I promise and it was a great thirty days!  2. There are 20 days till spring break! Yesterday's snowy whether had me dreaming about reading books by a fire and sledding all day and drinking hot cocoa up in a cozy cabin. I'm especially in a good mood today because there is all campus worship tonight and I'm so excited! I really can't get enough of worshiping my Heavenly King! I love love love music it's one of my passions and worship is a way for me to completely escape into a time of beauty that connects me and God. Okay so Winter Conference, what is that you might be asking? Well Intervarsity Christian Fellowship has this conference every year in Portland and every chapter in the NW comes together and meets God. Last year when I went, God did some incredible healing in me, which you can read about here and so this I was looking forward to it ecstatically. The Speaker, Rom, from the Ohio State Chapter, spoke to us out of Joshua. He was inviting us to the MORE of what God has for us. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9    That God will always be with us and that when we go out and start behaving courageously,  God is strong and courageous. It isn't saying that we can do it but that God can do it and in that we can be fools for Jesus not letting fear conquer us and believing that God's got it!
