Unexpected Blessings

DEAD WEEK. 
It's usually my last favorite week of the school year. Going into this week I was beyond stressed just thinking about all the assignments, papers, projects and finals that I would be spending my time on this week. However, this week has been more peaceful that I was expecting! God is showing up all over the place! 

These are just a few of the unexpected blessings I've received: 
I haven't felt stressed yet and my to-list is continually shrinking with ease!
The lady at the coffee shop gave me a free coffee yesterday, made my day:) 
My room is now decked out in Christmas Cheer
Campus is also looking like a winter wonderland
And we had a fabulous dinner out with our Bible Study last night with many laughs
Oh and I scored at the secret sale in the campus bookstore today!

So many joyful blessings and it's only Wednesday!
Thanks Jesus for making this week a fantastic week instead of a dreadful one:

I shouldn't even underestimate the power and love of God!

New eyes, new life.

First off I want to thank all of you who supported me financially and prayerfully. You all made a huge effort in getting me to summit and I can't thank you enough! Without you and Jesus of course, I wouldn't have had such an amazing and life changing experience.  If you couldn't already tell summit was amazing ! Not only did I gain amazing new relationships with my friends in IV(Intervarsity Christian Fellowship), but I gained an entire new perspective of how I look at the world and how I want to live in it. We studied in Acts and learned how to live in a community that eats together, prays together and does everything else together. We learned to live simply and realized that we actually can survive with the bare necessities and that we don't really need the things that we want. Mixed feelings about the Superbowl

This weekend one of my favorite and least favorite events is happening. All month I have been looking forward to February 2 but also completely dreading this day at the same time. You might be thinking sheesh girl you have some polar opposite emotions about this day! You are right, I totally do!  I am completely ecstatic that the seahawks will be playing in the superbowl!! It's only their second time ever at the superbowl and I am so proud of our NW team! My family has always been fans and well this time the seahawks must win! I even got inspired by a friend to make seahawk scarfs for my business, why not they are awesome! I definitely could have made much more business if I had only thought of that sooner, ha oh well!  BUT, I on the flipside my body is sick thinking about this game day because believe it or not it is the biggest incident of human trafficking in the U.S.  January is Human Trafficking awareness month and as an advocate I am asking for your prayers and intercession
