{most wonderful time}

 "He is before all things, in him all things were created." Colossians 1:17

This season has been the craziest. However, it's been amazing! I have been so blessed with many people in my life that make the busy-ness worth it! God has been working like crazy as I have seen so many of my friends and family growing more and more in him.
He has been blessing us all like crazy.

Best Wishes to My Bestie!

HAPPY 21-ER
to my
best friend and sister
Venisa Troyer
soon to be Mrs. Venisa Saviola!

This proverbs 31 woman has been with me through thick in thin ever since we were 14. Wow Nisa it's been 7 years since we've become best friends! I love her to death. She is such an encourage, she asks me the hard questions, she loves and gives the best advice and we can laugh about anything. I'm so blessed to have her be apart of my life and I'm excited for the new journey that the Lord is taking her on. I love that our birthdays are so close together and I can't wait to throw her bachelorette party this weekend! May God's blessing be upon you today V! I love you!

Haha I'm looking forward to the rest of this beautiful Monday and I'm so thankful for how much I am blessed by my Savior, Jesus Christ. He has laid down His life so that I could have mine and I'm forever thankful of these wonderful years He has given me! And I'm so thankful for my mama who brought me into this world 21 years ago! I love you all and thank you from my heart!

fearfully
and

Good "Freezing" Morning!!

Good
Good
Good
MORNING!

It's currently 36 degrees and it's 11am, I don't even want to know how cold it was when I went to work this morning at 8am:/
However campus keeps getting more and more beautiful as fall continues on and it's November which is definitely one of my favorite months! My 21st b-day is in 6 days, veterans day is coming and thanksgiving is right around the corner:)
I'm loving that it is a scarf and sweater day but I've been tempted to listen to christmas music but I must not listen to any until after thanksgiving... I hope I can make it by then! So I hope you all have a blessed first day of November:)

Psalm 63
1  O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you;
my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you,
as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
2  So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary,
beholding your power and glory.
3  Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.
4  So I will bless you as long as I live;
in your name I will lift up my hands.

5  My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food,
and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips,
6  when I remember you upon my bed,
and meditate on you in the watches of the night;
7  for you have been my help,
and in the shadow of your wings I will sing for joy.
8  My soul clings to you;
your right hand upholds me.

9  But those who seek to destroy my life
shall go down into the depths of the earth;
10  they shall be given over to the power of the sword;
they shall be a portion for jackals.
11  But the king shall rejoice in God;
all who swear by him shall exult,
for the mouths of liars will be stopped.

{Happy Happy Halloween}

Happy Halloween Day!

However, today doesn't really feel like Halloween, Monday just doesn't seem like a day for a holiday.  I've dressed up for all weekend and today I didn't feel it was appropriate to dress up but I thought I'd go nautical today, that counts for something right!

 But my day has already been off to a great start! At work this morning my bosses dressed up in the most hilarious costumes, they brought us candy and the little kids came through our offices to trick or treat and they made my day!! Normally Monday's aren't my favorite but thank you Jesus I had a wonderfully relaxing weekend and I am ready to start week 6!

So here's a bit about my weekend in a nutshell!

{Friday}
Reverse trick or treating!
My ministry decided that we were going to give candy away and have a costume party and I was pretty impressed at the turnout!

{1920's Flapper Ladies}

{Varsity House Mugger}

{Saturday}
Sabbath. It was so nice to have a day skyping with my family, reading my Bible and spending time with God, making crafts and dancing make a great day!
Oh and my beautiful sister was on her coming court! I'm so proud of her and her achievements in these past couple years and I miss her so much!

{My Beautiful mama and sister:)}

{Sunday}
We had a leadership palooza! Basically we had a huge feast and family time with my leadership team. The food was great and my apple nachos were a hit!

As I end, I want to leave you with this on this typical day that can portray evil. Peace be with each of you and remember that God's presence is with you wherever you go!

Desires

Well hey there. Long time no see. My life has been insanely hectic but so good at the same time. School is in full swing, work is fast-pace and I've already seen how much the Lord has done in the ministry I'm involved in this year!

Today I want to express my desires. You see I have a fear of failing. I'm a people-pleaser, I want to do everything perfect at work, I need to excel in my classes, be the best friend and daughter and sister I can be and to give all I have for God and his ministry. But, I'm at the end of my rope. I have even realized that I have an addiction to coffee, I have been relying on it every morning to get through each day, to stay awake in classes and to persevere to get things done. So last week in our Bible Study we talked about what's important to us and what is getting in the way of following God. I decided that depending on coffee wasn't exactly good or healthy for my relationship with God. So for this past week I have put aside my want for coffee and I'm more addicted than I thought. I was suffering from caffeine headaches and whats worse is that I've been craving it and coffee shops on my campus are like starbucks in seattle. It's insane I tell you how many times a day I'm asked if I would like some coffee but it's getting easier to say no. Oh and by the way in the above pictures I'm drinking tea so no worries I haven't caved in yet!
God is totally showing me that He can do all things and He will get me not only through each day but to enjoy my day in His Spirit. Each scripture I read and each conversation or sermon I hear have been pointing to the love of God and how everything is pinned on that. I'm learning that God is there in every part of my day and that He is calling me to be still in His presence. It's hard to schedule in that time in my busy non-stop doing days but I'm thoroughly enjoying spending time with my Lord, falling in love all over with Him again. He is good, so good I tell ya! I'm receiving peace from Him and becoming less stressed everyday and Praise the Lord because it's only Him who saves me!

Aside from all the craziness in my life, I'm so thankful for all the blessings God has given me.
I've been anticipating my bestie, Venisa's wedding! It's only two months away now and I've been enjoying planning parties and wedding things for her:) We were able to spend some great one on one time this weekend and I'm so forever thankful that God placed her in my life seven years ago.
I was also able to skype one of my greatest friends, Kelly, the other day! It was so amazing to just see her face and chat for a while since she has recently been out of the country in Hong Kong! She is serving the Lord on a worship team and I'm so proud of her! She is so encouraging and wonderful and I truly can't wait for her to get back for Christmas break!

Fall is my favorite time of year and my campus is so beautiful! Seriously the changing of the leaves takes my breath away! Football games, pumpkin picking, apple cider, caramel apples, scarves and halloween! I just love fall, who doesn't!
The Lord is good and I'm learning to give Him all my desires and give Him full control of my life, including my daily schedule and my life plans. I'm so glad that I don't have to plan every moment. He will provide for me, after all He gave everything so that we could have it all.

Blessings to you my friends, I hope your enjoying fall and the many blessings God has given us as much as I am!

Psalm 62:5-7
5For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence,
   for my hope is from him.
6 He only is my rock and my salvation,
   my fortress; I shall not be shaken.
7On God rests my salvation and my glory;
   my mighty rock, my refuge is God. 8 Trust in him at all times, O people;
    pour out your heart before him;
   God is a refuge for us.

Birthday Blessings:)

Today is the celebration of the 22nd Birthday of my dearest friend Krystal Catchpole!

"Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come." Proverbs 31:25

Krystal has been such an incredible friend to me these past couple years and I am so blessed to have her in my life. She is always encouraging and she is one of the most caring persons that I have ever met. Krystal's heart is so after God and she is constantly putting others before her and giving of herself so selflessly. She is so joyful and being around her makes for lots of laughs and memories. I am so so glad to have her in my life!

So here's to you Krystal! Have a wonderful joyous Birthday my love!!

From Home to Home

Currently I’m on a train southbound from Tacoma to Corvallis. Leaving one place of home to another.

It was wonderful to be at home with my family this summer. Spending time with my sister was so much fun and working all week long wasn’t too bad either.

  This summer I had a few “firsts” for me. For example this is my first train ride.
Going to Mexico was an INCREDIBLE first. I miss that place so much!
Singing in a wedding was an honored first for me:)
Flying on a plane was a funny first.
Visiting the cute town of Polsbo and taking a ferry to Seattle was a delightful first.
Buggy-boarding in Cannon Beach was an exciting first!
But Vacationing in Cannon Beach though has been a tradition in my family for years and I love every single trip we take there!

This place has always had such a sense of home for me. I don’t know if it’s the smell of Bruce’s Candy Kitchen, the Haystack Rock or the beautiful sunsets. I always enjoy my time there and I dream of having a beach house there one day, perhaps in many, many decades when I’m old and retired ha! Until then it’s still my favorite vacation spot.

I’m so looking forward to being back in Oregon. I’ve loved being by the gorgeous and unbelievably beautiful waters of the Pudget Sound but I longing to be back in my college town. I’m so excited to be back in community and to be back on my regular life schedule oh and to have slightly warmer weather!

It seems that no matter where I am I always miss one of my many homes. However I’m learning to be content wherever my Jesus is taking me. I can’t believe that I’m halfway through school and I’ve grown so much! I can’t wait to see where he leads me these next years!

Celebrating my sis:)

Today is a very important day because 17 years ago my incredibly lovely sister Courtney was born! She is such a light and a joy!!! We've always called her smiley eyes because she truly has an amazingly happy spirit! Her heart is so big and full of love for others. I admire her servants heart for God and how much she lives to honor him. We've been getting closer to each other every year and I'm so thankful and grateful for her and her listening ears and encouraging words and our hilarious and spontaneous memories. I love you Court with all my heart I hope your day was as amazing as you:)
