I can see the light!

is the number of days left until I graduate college!
It's finally hitting me that I'm about done with my college days and I am feeling extremely bittersweet about it.

I can not wait to be done with endless papers and lectures and the hectic schedule I have slammed myself in the last couple years.
BUT I am so not ready to be a grown up or leave my lovely university. My campus is gorgeous and the friendships I have made here I know will last a lifetime. I just can not believe it is almost over just 6 more weeks until I am done with classes!
I am however, extremely excited for my next stage in life that God is calling me too.
I will be doing campus ministry next year! I am so stoked and I have been dreaming about this for a while now. Yes, haha I will be doing ministry at UofO haha my rival school, but I can not wait to invest in the students there and witness the Grace of God happening on that campus!

Life is about to change drastically for me and I am super ecstatic but also terrified! I am entering the world of non student life which is quite foreign to me. However, the life of work I am going into I get to see lives transform which is pretty fantastic!

I hope I can finish the rest of my term well at OSU! haha let's hope this case of senioritis will go away. I have a feeling it wont since the days are only getting sunnier and I am one step closer to graduation!

New eyes, new life.

First off I want to thank all of you who supported me financially and prayerfully. You all made a huge effort in getting me to summit and I can't thank you enough! Without you and Jesus of course, I wouldn't have had such an amazing and life changing experience.  If you couldn't already tell summit was amazing ! Not only did I gain amazing new relationships with my friends in IV(Intervarsity Christian Fellowship), but I gained an entire new perspective of how I look at the world and how I want to live in it. We studied in Acts and learned how to live in a community that eats together, prays together and does everything else together. We learned to live simply and realized that we actually can survive with the bare necessities and that we don't really need the things that we want. Mixed feelings about the Superbowl

This weekend one of my favorite and least favorite events is happening. All month I have been looking forward to February 2 but also completely dreading this day at the same time. You might be thinking sheesh girl you have some polar opposite emotions about this day! You are right, I totally do!  I am completely ecstatic that the seahawks will be playing in the superbowl!! It's only their second time ever at the superbowl and I am so proud of our NW team! My family has always been fans and well this time the seahawks must win! I even got inspired by a friend to make seahawk scarfs for my business, why not they are awesome! I definitely could have made much more business if I had only thought of that sooner, ha oh well!  BUT, I on the flipside my body is sick thinking about this game day because believe it or not it is the biggest incident of human trafficking in the U.S.  January is Human Trafficking awareness month and as an advocate I am asking for your prayers and intercession
