I hope you took the time to read over Psalm 23 for yourself, if not I highly encourage you too:) This song has been stuck in my head all week and it is completely based off of Psalm 23. It's too good to keep it to myself. I hope you all have a lovely Friday and remember to be refreshed in Jesus. At the end of the week we often crash so fall into the arms of our amazing shepherd as you end your week. OH and don't forget to take a sabbath, they are great, I look forward to mine every week! God is continuously teaching me to rest and this week he has physically reminded myself too. I spent a couple hours in the health center yesterday learning that yet again I sprained my ankle. Ha I guess I'll be taking a break from running and such but I honestly don't mind all that much:)
Rest well brothers and sisters!
"Yet God has made everything beautiful in it's own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so people cannot see the scope of God's work from beginning to end." Ecclesiastes 3:11
Somedays I wish I were a kid again.
So I wouldn't have to have a worry about life. This time of year gets crazy as classes get tougher, finals are almost here, spring break is coming, registering for classes and trying to figure out living situations for the next year. BUT God says quite WORRYING! It's hard to just let go and give it all to Christ but I'm just trying to do that day by day and I know that his plan for me is way bigger than my little worrying habits. It's good to be still and remember that He is God and that He has a journey for us to follow. We are all connected in His grand plan and He is BIGGER than any big or little problem that we are going through. So breathe and relax and remember that God's got it! He says that we will never ful…
best friend and sister
soon to be Mrs. Venisa Saviola!
This proverbs 31 woman has been with me through thick in thin ever since we were 14. Wow Nisa it's been 7 years since we've become best friends! I love her to death. She is such an encourage, she asks me the hard questions, she loves and gives the best advice and we can laugh about anything. I'm so blessed to have her be apart of my life and I'm excited for the new journey that the Lord is taking her on. I love that our birthdays are so close together and I can't wait to throw her bachelorette party this weekend! May God's blessing be upon you today V! I love you!
I feel as if summer just started and already my highlight of this season has come and gone.
Oh and before I forget, I'm terribly sorry for neglecting my blogging duties, I've been taking my time away from the computer but I miss informing you all about the great little things God has been doing in my life.
Anyway, my mission trip to Mexico went incredibly well! However, at the start of our trip I wasn't so sure if it was going to be everything that I'd hoped for. The first day was scary for me, it was my first plane ride and I had no idea that we'd be that high in the sky! I kinda liked it though, it was such a humbling experience to remember that I am SO small compared to this world God has made and to see the earth from that view was truly beautiful!
After hours of flying, grocery shopping, and driving dirt roads we finally made it San Vicente!! Our first stop was tacos for dinner out on the street and I thought this place was super sketch. Boys in cars would slo…
